i hate to bother people by asking so many questions, but since you made this thread for questions, i might as well ask.

what is LAE like with regards to:

quality of teaching
class sizes
number of teachers for each subject
pressure to perform
social aspect
extra-curricular activities
quality and number of study areas
designated study periods, etc.

-Quality of teaching
Great. There's a reason why the average grade achieved is an A.
-Class sizes.
It depends. There's 'no one size that fits all'
-Number of teachers
I personally have 2 teachers for each subject
-Pressure to perform
Don't expect LAE to be a stroll in the park. You will be expected to show initiative, work hard, ask for help. There should be no pressure if you work hard.
extra curricular
https://www.lae.ac.uk/1076/co-curricular-opportunity
-study areas
the library, the agora(canteen/social space), the hall
-study periods
I assume u mean free periods. There are a few frees in year 12, but don't expect too many because you will be doing 4 a-levels. In Y13, u might have more free periods if you drop to 3 a-levels

I don't think if you miss one it will matter- regardless I would say apply because you have nothing to lose

The interview process is pretty chill, they ask about why you want to go there and why you chose those subjects. For me they asked about my strengths and weaknesses as well as how I demonstrate their core values (there are six you'll find them on the website) as well as which core value i think is the most important. Just do a bit of research on their core values and you should be fine

Did anyone else get an email today reminding them to complete their application? As far as I am aware I already have so I was wondering if this was just an automatic message.

I didn't get an email yesterday reminding me to complete my application. Maybe you should double check that you've submitted it or filled in the required information. Hope this helps.
