surely stoichiometric ratios don't even matter for that question because they show the ratio that substances REACT in and the question was only asking how many moles were ADDED. So you could just use conc. equation regardless.

They don’t matter but, it’s always good to teach them how to spot it early

As OP progresses further along the course, they’d start to get silly errors if you aren’t checking all these things regardless

Nah I’ve done my Chem A-level & the last thing you wanna do is over complicate 😂😂 especially on calcs

It’s a very hit or miss topic 😭 I remember I did an end of unit test and the last question was a 6 mark buffer calc ( buffers are terrible at first ). I did it right then started overthinking, scribbled it all out & got 0/6 💀
