My boyfriend sent nudes to a stranger

I’ve been with my boyfriend 5 years now, last night at work this girl added him on sc, she started messaging him and he messaged her back, he then sent her a naked video of him all for her to have been screenshotting/recording the whole time. He also sent her a picture of his face. Turns out she was a big spam scam porn account thing, and was like send me £120 or I’ll post your face and videos everywhere. So he told me because he was scared of his job etc and I think I’ve sorted it. I’m obviously upset as he still sent the video unaware it was a scam, it could’ve been a real girl. My question is, how do I rebuild five years worth of trust? Is this cheating? Should I forgive him?

Yes, sending nudes clearly shows he is intrested in other's and shows hes not loyal.
It doesnt matter if you've known eachother for 5 years of 5 weeks, cheating is cheating. You deserve better.

He seems to me like he has no real respect for you seeings as you didn't even cross his mind in the whole process of talking to then recording himself. I'd discuss it with him and maybe take a short break to see how you feel. honestly its cheating. it technically is a real person they may not be sexually interested in him but he was still doing it with the thought of it being a girl where did he intend to take it? There was tons of points during the convo he could of stopped but he didn't.
