I think identifying 'best' is going to be problematic. The answer is probably going to vary according to exactly which specialism you are most interested in, and how wide your definition of the London area is.

I think you need to consider what you want, do you prefer a theoretical or a practical approach, do you prefer exams or coursework etc.

Once you can narrow this down a bit that should help with the selection process.

I think you will find that most universities will provide RICS (and possibly CIOB for QS) accredited degrees.

I'm sure I'm going to miss some people out here, but in no particular order I know of Kingston, Greenwich, London South Bank, Westminster, UCL and I'm sure several more.

Hey ellerf

This quantity surveying degree teaches you about project management, contract management and law, economics, commercial awareness and ethics in the construction and property industries.

This course is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Building and Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. This indicates that the degree will give you the skills you need for jobs in quantity surveying.

Via the course modules, you'll gain practical skills relating to construction technology and sustainability, health and safety and measurement. You have the option of a placement year so you can gain industry experience. There is also a final-year project, which is designed to build your skills in research data collection, problem-solving and analysis.

Join our Virtual Open Day November 2020 and chat with current students and staff and find out more about how we can support you whilst you study, including information about courses, fees and funding, student life and accommodation.

Hope this helps, let me know if you have any question
