a lot of it has to do with pressure and the belief that everyone else is doing it therefore you have to do it; and if you don’t do it the other person will lose interest. that’s just from genera observation tho cuz i’ve never sent one/not interested.

i remember when Jennifer Lawrence’s nude photos were leaked she said she did it because ‘he’s either going to look at you or he’s going to look at porn’ (paraphrase).

Sounds very accurate.
Many of my closest friends recount getting off on nude photos
Otherwise they resort to Porn

These seems to be a very accurate belief imo.
girls send them cuz low self esteem. or looking for validation
