Hi, I have just started my first year on a degree course (BA (Hons)) and have applied for the tuition fee and maintenance loan, both of which have been approved. However, I would like to study a level 3 course part time for this first year alongside my degree as I have a lot of time free and it will ultimately help me in my long term career goal. Would I be eligible to apply for an advanced learner loan alongside the other student finance? I don’t already hold a level 3.

Hi Lottie, yes that is totally fine to do if you feel you can manage to study both.
Thanks, Isaac
