More about the University of Manchester
I feel like Manchester is kinda the capital of the North: the UK's Second City. It's a diverse place and it seems like somewhere that gets more attention than Liverpool honestly. Andy Burnham putting up a fight for us shows that it's a place that doesn't just roll over, and there's a real sense of community here. To me, it's a really nice place to live (as long as you avoid certain areas like any other city haha). There's always loads to do no matter what your interests, the transport links are good (for the north), and it's got a pretty vibrant atmosphere.
