there's rather a lot of universities in UK, Lancaster University is in the north and near a quite small town of Lancaster.
compare everything they write on their website https://www.lancaster.ac.uk with some other universities, do a lot of reading.

don't confuse "Lancaster" with this one https://uclan.ac.uk/ "Central Lancashire", they are fairly close, and both campus universities, quite self-contained.
Which one is bigger, which one is best? - that's for you to decide

OK, this should help, click on these, one by one

International page https://www.lancaster.ac.uk/study/in...onal-students/
BASIC FIRST YEAR https://www.lancasterisc.com/program...oundation-year
(some countries applicants, i.e. China, are suggested to do a general year, before you then continue to study a specific course)

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS https://www.lancaster.ac.uk/study/in...-requirements/
WHICH COUNTRY https://www.lancaster.ac.uk/study/in...-your-country/

What can you study? - that's really for you to choose, download a full undergraduate prospectus, and look at it
choose from these areas, and more
Business and Management Studies
Engineering and Computing
Law
Life Sciences
Mathematics and Statistics
Social Studies

try and choose something that really interests you, bear in mind it might be a subject that you haven't studied before, or could be a continuation of your favourite classes at high school

Each subject is different in the way of doing things. Science subjects are more hands on with lab work in person. With covid and everything, my daughter is doing physics and she has about 16 hours contact time online per week, another 3 hours in person labs per week and the rest is independent study by doing problem sheets and maths questions.
Or you could do languages which has more in person contact time and essay based projects instead.
They offer lots and lot of courses, see below link for an A-Z

If you are international student you can find out more applying by clicking this link:

Any more information email [email protected] or telephone 44 1524 592 028.

Hi jade_aissaoui
As well as the sites mentioned above it might be useful for you to chat and ask questions online to students studying the courses you are interested in.
You can do this online through uni buddy:

Good luck with your decisions!

When I went for an open day back in 2019 I got a really friendly campus feel. Beautiful location.

It's my insurance but I truly wouldn't mind going.
