Do most uni's allow you to use music facilities if you are not studying music

Although I don't plan on taking music at uni, I have been playing an instrument for 9 years and was wondering if the facilites are able to be used by people not taking a music degree?

'Probably', there will likely be less formal music societies and clubs that would get you a degree of access to facilities.
