Hiya, i wanna study something related to Biochemistry at uni, with a Foundation Year. Would this be possible with just AS Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Psychology, assuming I get good grades?

I want to go to uni next year as I'm a year behind my age group, because I dropped out last year due to homelessness.

Thankyou!

Usually you would need three full AL’s, even for a foundation year. Being one year behind is nothing really, (and you’d spend an additional year doing the FY anyway). Your best bet is to complete your AL’s.

I have a lot of issues that mean staying another year doing a levels isnt feasible. All I was asking for was any options that would allow me to go to uni next year, rather than waiting.

Thankyou

In that case I suspect your only hope is to look for a FY that asks for tariff points (rather than grades) and accepts AS Levels.

You might be best emailing a few of your target uni’s and explaining your situation. If you have mitigating circumstances then you might get lucky.
