trigger warning// not eating
my mom is a doctor with phd and shes telling me that starving myself is good and healthy. she always calls me fat says ive gained weight and says i eat too much when i literally dont. she keeps encouraging an eating disorder on me. she suffered from both bulimia and anoroxia when she was younger but i dont get why shes trying to influence me if shes a doctor and knows its a bad thing. she even once told me that mental illness is a hoax and that everyone gets sad and life is not always easy but she literally took a course in psychology like she just frustrates me fkjdkjfbdkjfbh

first of all......you are her child she has no right to call you fat like wtf, second of all, i struggle with mental illness, it is not a hoax and yea everyone gets sad but theres more to depression than just being sad and mental illnesses are a real thing, third of all its bs that shes trying to make you starve yourself like wtf. im sorry but your mom is trippin. if you need someone to talk to hmu in pms but your moms got me pressed. im sorry youre being treated like that.

She’s somewhat right about the mental illness being a hoax, counsellors and GPs make money out of it all. Suicide is a different story and that’s not a hoax but if someone is just feeling a bit down sometimes that’s just life everyone has bad days and no one is going to be happy 24 hours a day everyday.

Are you fat or a bit large? Because it kind of makes a difference to your arguement..

If your a bit on the big side, then she just sounds like an insensitive maybe ill informed mum

If your already healthy/normal weight wise, then yeah she sounds nuts and a bit dangerous.
