Hello, so I started first year of uni this September and I’m living at home but I’m looking for somewhere else to live ( looking at my own flat) I’ve already had my first payment before even thought of moving out but I’m not sure how to do anything or what to necessarily do. Could someone perhaps give me a tip as i can’t wait. I’m 19 pretty soon so that might be a benefit

It can be very isolating living alone at this age imo. Try looking at spare room for places to rent.

Thank you but I would much rather just get a flat on my own really😊. would I need to contact student finance, I don’t work at the moment so realistically I’d need to get a job to keep up with the rent?

How will you afford rent, bills etc? It is a big committment if you are rentling a flat on your own.
