Hi, I'm in the middle of some work and I need to cite an image. The image in question is from the 1900s, the website I took it from put the article up last year so what year do I put? 1902 or 2019?

I would try and cite from the original source, if you cannot find this then cite the source you found it in.
You should check your unis referencing guidelines.
