Hello,
I’m writing about Carter’s The Bloody Chamber, and am trying to make a point about the sudden arrival of the mother at the end of the short story, but I’m unable to find any specific critic who thinks this. I know it’s a specific question, but does anyone know of a critic who specifically said the mother’s arrival at the end of the tale is too sudden?
