Legit ways to make money online?

Hi I recently turned 16 and have got my national insurance number but I am struggling to find work due to the pandemic and I am still in school. I read about a website called Swagbucks but I am a bit sceptical because some reviews are amazing but others say that their bank accounts have been closed. Are there any legit sites to earn money online? Thanks for taking the time to read this

An actual job.

Avoid sites at all costs, you're 16, naive, and most likely will fall into a scam, if anything. I am in no way saying there isn't any legit ones out there, but it just isn't worth it right now.

@juan3357 I appreciate your grind, keep on working hard mi amigo
before looking for work online, educate yourself about money mules and common financial scams targeted at young folks. https://www.investopedia.com/financial-edge/1012/common-scams-targeted-at-teens.aspx
https://moneymules.co.uk/

there's been lots of instances of young people becoming money mules and consequently getting a CIFAS marker. there's almost a thread everyday about a teen getting a CIFAS marker.

What is a cifas marker? A friend of mine recently had one on him and it affected his bank account or something. How could one prevent this from happening to themselves?

read those links (particularly the money mule link), and this: https://www.cifas.org.uk/about-cifas/what-is-cifas

this is how lots of teens get cifas markers; a scenario whereby alice becomes a money mule to bob:

bob: hey, do you want to earn some easy big bucks?
alice: sure, what do i need to do?
bob: you just need to store £10,000 in your bank account for 2 months and you can keep half of it.
alice: hell yeah, i'm up for that!
bob: ok can you meet me at 3pm and i'll transfer the money to your bank account.
alice: sure.
...
bank: wtf, how did alice get 10k from this unknown bank number? hmm, something seems dodgy.
cifas: alice is a money mule!

Thanks, I understand what money laundering is and have declined it many times after being offered it on Snapchat. Do you know of any websites that offer surveys/videos to watch that aren't scams or should I just save and try find a job later

It’s a fraud marker that warns lenders not to open an account for you or open any form of credit line. It lasts 6 years.

Don’t exchange bank details with anyone, ever. The only people you should share account details with are your employer and legitimate entities for the purposes of direct debits.
