How can i link studying english literature at A Level to the Economic degree i’m applying for?

I was thinking about developing an ability to critically analyse things..
however this usually apply to texts or political issues studied in english lit; which i guess DO affect economic decisions

I might’ve answered my own answer lol but any other suggestions?

In English Literature, the ability to see different perspectives is paramount. Therefore, you could say that your English Literature A-level has taught you how to be debate and criticise different texts this is a skill which Economists need in order to decide/predict how consumers and producers are going to behave under different economic circumstances.
Or, you could say that Your English Literature A-level has allowed you to fully understand the intention behind people's actions (e.g why the author decided to use this technique here and what effect it has on the reader). This links to Economics because Economists need to be able to understand why the consumers/producers/government has decided to do this and the overall effect it has on the economy!

You don't need to talk about your A Levels at all in your PS. The admissions tutors will know that English lit involves critically analysing texts
