How do I write a personal statement that targets some general engineering courses as well as some mechanical engineering courses without being either too general or too specific? Will tutors reading Mech Eng personal statements be looking for a lot to do specifically with Mech Eng? Can I be general to show a holistic enthusiasm and understanding of engineering?Should I mention some advantages of doing general engineering such as the interdisciplinary skills it brings? Help plz ty
