Hello! I'm applying to Oxford next year for E&M. I have 3 full alevels (Maths, Econ and Business) and 2 for AS (English Language and Further Maths). I've heard that Oxford basically overlooks AS subjects and doesn't consider them at all, is this true? Does this mean studying English and Further Maths is useless?

since not many sixth forms do AS levels anymore, unis dont tend to take them into much consideration. however, an AS in further maths will probably be looked upon favourably if you've got an A in it, especially for economics, so you'll be at an advantage to those who haven't taken further maths at all
