I was wondering what are the pros and the cons of taking photography as an a level (OCR) considering that my future career path is not considered creative or arty.

Pros: It would be a release from more heavy subjects, and you could just let yourself go creatively and enjoy yourself for a couple of hours a week.
Cons: It's nothing to do with what you want to do. But, having a change is good, and it sounds like this would give you a bit of a release for some time each week
