Hi,I am a student living at home in a single-parent household with an income of £26,000. I was previously told I would be getting just under £6000 in maintenance loan. My brother started uni this Sept and was told he'd be getting £3000, and now I have been told my maintenance loan will also be deducted to this amount. Does anyone know why??

Are you sure that your parent's income has been taken into account? £3000 is very close to the non-income assessed amount.
