Food Science, and dropping A-Level Maths

I'm really interested in doing Food Science at uni, but I really want to drop Maths because its not required, and only recommended for any of my chosen unis (so long as I continue Bio and Chem) and I feel that I could score an A* on Biology if I did drop to three subjects.
I'm currently studying Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Business at A2. I've completed my AS and so far my predicted grades for A2 are AAAA* respectively.
To anyone who is currently studying Food Science/Food Technology, how relevant is Maths in your degree? Do you think I could get by with just AS Level Maths, or will it really help if I continued it and finished it at A2?
