No entry sign - please help!!
So I accidentally drove through a no entry except busses, taxies etc sign and ended up in a bus lane, I quickly turned into a side road and turned round and came back out. It was a genuine accident due to me being not 100% familiar with the area. My friends tell me I’ll just get a PCN, and no points. No police pulled me, and I’ll probably just be caught on CCTV. Will I get a PCN or a will I get a NIP? I can’t afford to get points
If you can find some recent images on google streetview, you may be able to spot any signage relating to lane cameras. In any case, you’ll have to wait and see if a penalty notice arrives. There’s often a discount for prompt payment.
