Do I Need Edexcel IAL Chemistry Unit 2 to continue A2 Chemistry?

So I took predicted in Chem U2, so i never studied it as I was lazy, do i need chem u2, to study A2 chem, and if i do, which are the relevant bits that i need to know, and the ones that will not be needed.

are u talking about pearson edexcel IAL? bc if so unit 2 includes intermolecular forces, organic chem, redox chem which all are super relevant to the rest of the course. u basically wont b able to remember/study/understand most of the second book without these. plus theyre examined all through the second year, for example i just did paper 5&6 and lots of the questions were linked to those subjects i mentioned before. i would strongly recommend studying the whole book lol it really is all relevant
