You could use your standard allowance to help pay for your driving lessons of course, but keep in mind you also might have bills and food etc to pay for

You may be expected to agree to look for employment by Universal Credit though! The fact that you receive Universal Credit won't be taken into consideration generally when you apply for a job. There's no boxes to tick stating you're in receipt of X, Y or Z benefit, it would be quite unusual. When you start a job that is PAYE, your employer will report your earnings to HMRC, and HMRC pass that information on to DWP so they can make any necessary deductions to your Universal Credit payment. There's no real direct contact between Universal Credit and your employer.

Generally people are required to spend up to 48 hours a week searching for work. So it may not be worth doing.

Employers will not know, but the claimant can tell them if they wish

Would it matter if they did? They would be aware to a degree if you came from jobseekers, often the case officers will contact them to check your progress

won’t they know for example, you need national insurance number for universal credit. And don’t you need to provide that same number to you’re employer
