Hii,

From anyone’s experience, are the cgp igcse 8-9 targeted exam practice workbooks for science and maths beneficial? What about the 9-1 ones?

yh do it because examiners put certain questions that are actually graded in terms of difficulty, so if you can answer a grade 9 question, you’ll probably end up getting the grade 9

For maths, there’s grade 9 questions right at the end of the page that really tests if you’re a grade 9 student or not, if you fail to answer these, you’ll get a 6/7
Same for sciences too

Do the text book questions, then the 8-9 question book
As it’ll be stupid if you can’t even answer a Grade 5 question but spend more time on the 8/9 questions

Thank you!!! By the way, what about past paper quesitons? Should I do them all and should I repeat them? And would you still recommend doing the textbook questions if I had 2 month left until my exams? I havent done any from the textbook yet, but did quite alot of the past paper exam practice ones. Any advice?

maybe not grade 1/2 because if this person is aiming for 8s/9s then higher only goes down to 4 or 3 or something. good idea though!
