Hello,
I am currently in half term and have mocks starting next weeks. I need a 7 in my Spanish to get onto the A Level course and want to do this subject so badly. I need help with how to get this grade. I don’t think learning the vocab in my textbook will be enough.
Thank you

- learn vocab (to be honest learning the vocab w/o the grammar can get you a 7, my teacher-more than 30 years of experience- told me that you could get a 9 with just knowing the vocab and this was proved because there were students in my class that knew all the vocab and were not very confident with the grammar and ended up with 9s)
- learn the grammar and practise it
- practice for the writing exam and use sophisticated terms
- put effort into your speaking exam because you can easily get full marks on it
-watch spanish films and read article in spanish or like follow spanish social media pages

Here is a list of ideas

Watch Spanish movies
Listen to Spanish radio shows
Read Spanish literature like novels etc
Practice writing and reading questions out in Spanish
Talk to other Spanish speakers as well this will help
Use flashcards to learn key vocabulary and so on
Find a good local Spanish teacher for more practice in the four skills
Tackle a few past practice papers in addition, you can find them online
Prepare for the speaking and listening exam as best as possible too
View or translate articles in Spanish as this will help you ace the reading and writing exam
Make notes then rewrite them in Spanish

Good luck!

Getting hold of a Spanish speaker would help a lot, because you could ask them to speak to you and practice conversations and you could send letters to practice your writing. Not sure how easy it would be for you to find one though - maybe try facebook?
