To those who have applied to dentistry at manchester, have you mentioned your voluntary work (if you have any) on the non academic form?

If so, which sections have you talked about it? I wanna mention it otherwise they're not gonna know I have any relevant experience because they're not gonna read our personal statements.

For instance, my voluntary work consists of being a care-worker, volunteering at a charity shop and at a school. Which sections would be good to talk about these in?

Hey, I have 2 separate examples of volunteering, one in a school and one in my community. I used one example in the teamwork section of the form and the other I morphed into being relevant in my hobbies and interests section. In both I explained how the opportunity to volunteer in my school/ community provided me with the transferable skills need to thrive as a dentist. Eg communication, adaptability, teamwork, leadership, empathy (interested in giving back to the community through my volunteering)

Hope this helps!
