What are the 2 chemical test to determine between ketone esters and carboxylic acid ?

Add metal carbonate to the samples. If effervescence it is carboxylic
Ester easy to tell by smell
Use tollens and if no color change then final one is ketone

Hi thanks for the help also final question is it effervescent because of co2 produced?

Yes that is correct, the bubbles formed will be CO2
