For me it really depends on the time of year and the weather. In winter I wear my black knee high boots most often. I'm wearing short skirts with bare legs a lot of the time and if I'm going to dress like this in cold weather I find boots with thick socks underneath a necessity.

When it's a bit milder I like to wear Doc Martens. I've got a couple of different pairs including some red ones and purple ones. Sometimes I'll wear them in colder weather as well if I'm wearing trousers or if I am wearing a skirt with my socks pulled up over the top of my boots.

In summer I tend to wear Converse a lot, with my favourites being my red pair.

I recently bought a pair of Vans high-tops with fluffy inside for cold winter mornings. They are very warm and comfortable. My first pair of Vans; I love the color and warmth.
