Hi there, I just want to 100 percent confirm this. I want to go home for a few days, for half-term break. I'm in a Tier 1 area but going back to a Tier 2 area which is confirmed to move to Tier 3 at some point (they haven't said when yet). Will I legally be able to come back to uni from home if they do change it to Tier 3? Thanks

I would double check with your uni as they may ask you to self-isolate for 2 weeks when you come back or if its the other way around?

Hi, they are currently advising people not to travel into or out of an area if it has been categorised as a very high alert level area (Tier 3). You can continue to travel into or out of very high alert level areas if you need to for education, so it should be fine.

I've emailed the uni, hopefully they respond before I leave. Yep, I'm planning to head to head home (potential Tier 3) and then back to university (Tier 1). Thanks!
