I'm currently a year 12 student starting work on my Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), the subject of which I have chosen to be string/M-theory. I've got some vague ideas about what I would like to include in my final essay, as I will list below, but I'm having trouble coming up with a way to "string" all of my ideas together - it's "knot" that easy.

If anyone could give me some ideas regarding this, other areas to focus on throughout the essay, any resources, et cetera that would be of amazing help. So far, I've decided to focus on the following (not necessarily in order):

- Quantum Mechanics + Classical Newtonian Mechanics Comparison

- Grand Unification + Unifying Gravity + Special Relativity + Lensing + Curvature Model of Gravity + Quantum Gravity

- Standard Model + Higgs Boson + Higgs Field + Wave Nature of Universe

String Theory and the Standard Model + How It Explains Nature Of Universe

- Supersymmetry + 10 Dimensions + Multiverse + Black Holes + Information Paradox + Dark Energy

Other areas of interest I'd like to include, but am not sure how to incorporate in terms of string theory, are excess matter [in terms of matter-antimatter annihilation after the Big Bang (Neanderthals developed tools, we built a wall, we built the pyrami- Okay I'll stop...)] and quantum entanglement.

Any ideas, suggestions, etc? Anyone who's done this topic before? As I say, I'm just having trouble formulating my project from the information I want to include, and so would like some feedback regarding what you would include, and how you would link it all together :^_^:
