Hi,
I've just started year 13, and am beginning to do my Coursework for English Lit (OCR).

We need to pick three texts, one Prose, one Poetry, and one Play, one of which was written post-2000, all of which were published post-1900.

I have decided on my Poetry and prose, I'm doing Rudyard Kipling's "The outlaws", and Conrad's Heart of Dearkness. However I'm stuck on what to do for my play.

Can anyone suggest a play about colonialism published/written after 2000?

many thanks,
Ethan

kind of:

"Small Island" by Helen Edmundson based on the novel of the same name by Andrea Levy.

Awesome!
Thank you so much!
I'll look into it deeper a bit later on, but from preliminary research, I reckon I could probably discuss the impact colonialism has on the 'colonised' population, and the long-lasting effects, as I'd compare this to heart of darkness.

Many thanks,
Ethan
