When I type ‘e’ the keyboard types ‘de’
When I type ‘m’ the keyboard types ‘mk’
And this also happens with other letters.
I’m using a Geo Laptop which I have just factory reset. This happened suddenly and without any reason. Everything was working fine yesterday.
I have tried uninstalling keyboard drivers but that did not help. The on screen keyboard works fine.
I have no other ideas as to how to fix this. Any ideas?

It’s the laptop keyboard, the built in one.

There could be something that has slipped through the cracks causing it to register on a key press on both keys. Since you can fairly confidently say it isn't a software issue that only leaves hardware.
