I am in lower set for sciences but i want to try my hand at Sciences in college. What reason do people typically have for choosing BTEC applied sciences? Are they like me and unable to get a 6 in GCSE science because they are in lower set or find it hard? Should i even apply for BTEC, is it really hard?

If you’re struggling at GCSE level, you’re likely to struggle at BTEC. That’s not to say you won’t do well, because you may choose to do the BTEC and do great! But if you’re already struggling and don’t feel a strong passion for science, I would go down a different route personally!
