Hi Im currently doing alevels in bio, chem and geo i love my subjects mostly geography which is why i was thinking about studying environmental sciences at Uni because its interdisciplinary however i dont want to do much on soil, geology and rocks i find it quite bland. topics im really interested in science research as well as geopolitics economics in relation to this and in general working on a course which would give me a better understanding of climate change, global warming, politics, and sustainable solutions.

Can anyone point me in the direction of uni courses encompassing this or to do with environmental sciences?

it would be much appreciated

Also soz my SPAG is atrocious

Hi iman56 it sounds like your interests will be in huge supply in the coming years. At UEA our School of Environmental Sciences is one of the oldest in the UK and celebrated for its success in Climate Change research. As well as the International Development course recommended below, we also offer a range of similar courses. The Environmental Science and International Development BSc explores natural resources in the context of development. Whilst our Geography and International Development degrees might also be of particular interest. You'll study how to tackle the biggest challenges facing the modern world - from poverty and inequality to climate change and sustainability. Our Natural Sciences degree also enable you to shape your entire programme. You'll choose a combination to suit you, from Biology and Environmental Sciences to Chemistry and Maths. Our website has a wealth of information but we also recommend attending a Virtual Open Day to watch subject talks with academics, hear from current students and explore our wonderful campus. Visit here to register and we'll personalise your event based on your subject interests: https://virtualopenday.uea.ac.uk/student-registration
