do birth control pills give u insomnia and inability to cry?

I literally have to force myself to shed a tear, when im getting panic attacks or sad i cannot cry and it scares me so much. I also cant sleep well at all

Tell your doctor and get there opinion. The inability to cry could simple just be from you being dehydrated

How dehydrated do you have to be to not be able to cry?!

I second speaking to GP about this though, sounds like you have a lot going on with your mental health.

yeah i dont think it has to do with being dehydrated, i was fine before the pill honestly.

Definitely sounds like side effects to the birth control. Speak with your GP as soon as you can! The impact on crying seems to be quite common though. A few of my friends have said the same... admittedly, that's usually been a welcomed addition.
