Does anyone have any ideas as to where are good places to go if you want to do languages. Not as part of your degree but take other courses in it. In particular out of Durham, York, Bristol and Cambridge. I'm particuarly interested in doing a non-european language.

I know SOAS are (obviously!) pretty good at this but was wondering if anyone else had any experience in doing this

    cheers

Cambridge are good – there have a language centre where you can take certificates in certain languages, or just teach yourself, using their equipment. I'm sure you can find it on their website if you look around.
