What does "Six characteristic morphologic patterns of necrosis" mean? English help

"Six characteristic morphologic patterns of necrosis are distin- guished in pathology"

Does this mean that when tissues die by necrosis the result is one of 6 possible morphological patterns or appearances ?

It’s basically cell death caused by loss of membrane integrity, intracellular organelle swelling and adenosine triphosphate depletion resulting in an influx of calcium so yes, Hope this helped
