PhD maintenance loan

Hi have been at my phd course for just under 2 years but i am moving university to finish my phd but they have started my phd from the beginning at my new university, how do i continue to get the remainder of my loan for my new phd

You will have to give a few more details.

1.

Are you in the UK, because changing uni in a funded PhD is very rare?

2.

What do you mean by 'to finish my PhD' and 'they have started my PhD from the beginning', those two descriptions don't make sense?

3.

Who is funding your PhD, is it a commercial loan?
