Hi people. I have sent my UCAS application in mid-October and I only chose two universities which are UCL and KCL for 2021. However, I haven't heard any offer received from any applicant from both Canada, UK, or China(three main countries whose many student apply for UCL and KCL every year). Is there anyone who knows when will these two London universities start to reply to undergraduate students?

Which course did you apply for? I heard that the more competitive courses usually take longer.

I actually applied for three courses for UCL and two for KCL. I know it's a little bit risky but I really love these two. For UCL, I applied for 1.Politics and International Relations. 2. PPE(Philosophy, Politics, and Economics). 3. History, Politics, and Economics. For KCL, I applied for 1. PPE. 2. International relations.
I believe that PPE is a competitive major but it should be on International relations and HPE right?

Yeah I think so but last year November I have heard some people receiving offers. This year it's just like totally silence.

Offers are made gradually and the bulk of offers will be made after January.
Some late offers will not be made until March/April.
Like everyone else, you'll just have to be patient.

Wait even if you applied really early in October? I had a friend who applied on October 4th and heard back on the 21st but had another friend who applied in early December and heard back in February?

Every course/Uni does this differently.

For competitive Unis like UCL/KCL they are likely to score applications and rank them against each other and make offers very gradually to top scorers. Or they may only make offers once a month, or whatever. It doesnt always follow that an early application gets a fast response.

Don't try to 'understand' when you think you should get an offer - the simple fact is that if you have not been rejected, you are still in with a chance. And if you get an offer in March/April it is still an offer.

deadline for med/dent/vet med/Oxbridge is 15th October
deadline for every other thing that wasn't mentioned so like BSc/BA is 15th January
UCAS deadline to firm/insure is in April/May time so offers have to be made during and before this time

every uni and every department/subject area is different as well
