A level choices.

so I'm in my 1st yr of a levels right. and we are through a decent amount of our courses. I'm doing. chem bio maths and history. WJEC btw. so. I'm pretty bad at maths. and took a lot of effort to get a B in Gcse. and Im struggling in a level. I'm confident in my other subjects. I only struggle wit maths. is it better to have 3 subjects I do good in. or 4 where I get a lower grade in maths. also I wanna do dentistry in the future. I've been thinking about what to do and need some outside opinions. thanks.

You don’t need maths for dentistry,
If you’re struggling with maths now, your best choice would be to drop it, as it gets progressively harder.
Since you got a 6 at gcse, it might just mean you need to work a little harder than anyone else but you could still get an A at A level if you worked hard. I know someone that got a 6 at gcse and now he’s working at an A* so it’s definitely achievable.
