It depends what for, lse has a stronger brand in general but Warwicks econ department is very strong. I think you should go for the course you prefer and you wont be disadvantaged.

i have an offer for epp and and phil + econ at lse and tbh both courses are great but i prefer epp if i’m being really picky and i want to focus on econ anyways which i won’t be able to do as much at lse because of the way the course is made but i’ve heard i can focus on economics in the epp course

Yes you can, if you take the behavioural economics track you can have up to 80% of your modules from the econ department. To be honest although lse has a better reputation in general, for graduate jobs it wont make a difference. If you prefer the Warwick course I'd say go for it.

Hi guys, since there isn't that many of us applying for EPP I was wondering if anyone would be interested in joining a EPP applicant/ offer holder group chat? Quote this if you are and I'll PM you any details

EPP is not in clearing for 2021, can we still mail to admissions ? Do they consider offering?

I appreciate that your last post on this thread was 1 year ago, but in case you get this, are you still enjoying your EPP course? Also, are there many in your class that don’t have maths A-level, and are they doing okay with the economics modules as far as you know? It is not a requirement to have A-level maths, but I don’t know if not having it would put you at a significantly disadvantage?

Well done! I'm still waiting to hear - are you aware of many other offer holders? We're you contextual or already had grades?

Got an offer for EPP - anyone else out there with an offer thinking of firming?

Congrats. Was it the standard A*AA (with A* in any subject) offer? Daughter is looking to apply later year.

From my understanding, there are two 'pathways' after first year. Which one did you take? If you took the economics route, how are you finding it, and how does it differ from the normal economics course (i.e. is it very focused on just behavioural economics?)

There are 4 main pathways, 2 which are b.sc and 2 which are BA

You can find more information here:

Hey guys, I have A*AA predicted in psych maths chem but GCSEs are 8888777766, and no Alevel essay subject but I do have AS economics, does it look like I have a chance?
