I have my mocks tomorrow and im having a mental breakdown

bruhh i have my bio (triple) and maths (higher) mocks tomorrow and I'm gonna cry. its soo stressful and I feel like i don't know anything. i don't want to do it at all help meee?

dont stress! the best you can do is go over as many past papers as you can now and later on just relax and go over flash cards/ revision books etc. make sure to leave some time to relax and destress

thanks for the confidence in me but I can never seem to 'relax' cause all i can hear in the back of my head is how imma fail and how i haven't revised properly. my anxiety's getting worse as well and i don't want to have a panic attack

i get you with the whole anxiety thing- i have really bad anxiety especially around exams, what i try to do is take my mind off it as best as i can- so i would take this next hour/2 hours to relax- do your own thing, watch a movie, read a book, bake a cake, whatever makes you calm. then after that take an hour to just go over your notes and revise a bit. then use the rest of your night to just chill and try and take it out of your mind. dont worry too much about it, everything will work out in the end :smile:

oohh my goddd i did the bio paper. wasnt hard. i know i will get over half but mathsss oh god. maths was horrific .i spent so much time revising bio that I forgot maths... i didn't do half the paper.... oh god

oh nooo ! dont worry you still have time until your real tests so until then just keep revising all your subjects. do you have any more maths mocks this week or was that it ?

Hey I’m sorry maths was hard for you. Hopefully it will get better. I have maths mocks coming soon and I’m stuck on what to revise. If it’s ok ok, can you tell me what you wished you had gone through. Like the topics you know would have helped for the test. I feel like I’m doing ok for revision but when I see a past paper, I faint

ughh so first of all, i hate maths. likee i DETEST it. i made the mistake of not revising for anything - especially for stuff i didn't know. Sooo if i were you, i would go thorough the topic list and highlight whatever you don't know and then use that as a guideline. I'm sorry I'm not much help cause my revision techniques are bad.. but good luck with revision :smile:
First thing I'd say, just like everyone else, don't stress. Everyone's in the same boat, and we all get a bit nervous from time to time. I would do a bit of revision if I were you, but not a truck load - that'll just stress you even more. Get a good night's sleep and a nice, big breakfast. If you start to worry during the exam, just take deep breaths and think of some sort of treat. E.g. this is hard, but if I don't panic and try my best, I will do xyz with my friends, or I might spend the night watching a nice sitcom. Reward yourself! :smile:

Again, just don't panic. You've got this, and I know you'll do better than you're telling yourself.

thank you for your overwhelming confidence in me :smile: and thank you for everyone replying to this thread, it definitely makes me feel better. I have a 8 mock exams left to do this upcoming week so I'm looking forward to that . hopefully we all do our best. Thank you!!
