Personal Statement
Hi, I'm guessing there are already a lot of questions about personal statements, I'm getting very stressed out over it atm. So I am currently in the process of applying for an Undergraduate Veterinary degree, but I'm a little worried as I have no experience in an actual Veterinary Practice. I have my college course and other animal based work experience, but I'm just wondering if this would be good enough for my application to be considered? 😔

Oh then it should be fine!!!
I don't think you really need work experience in that specific field as long as its related to your course... also Universities are being mindful that not everyone will have gotten work experience due to the pandemic so it doesn't really matter if you havent done any anyway
The fact that you have some work experience at all is great and (I think) puts you at a bigger advantage than some others!

Are you sure that your chosen course doesn’t have the early deadline?

Im pretty sure all veterinary, medicine and dentistry courses have the same 15th of October deadline...

If its Vet Nursing or Vet Bioscience its January.
Any course that leads to qualification as a professional Veterinary - including Foundation and Gateway - the deadline is October.

I have started the application process and it says 15th Jan on there. Also rang and emailed the uni itself and they also said its a January deadline
