Last year (I believe) the government announced all nursing/midwifery students will get £5000 maintenance payment. I read up on the UK Gov website but it is very confusing.
I will be starting my midwifery course in September 2021 and will be getting only £4000 maintenance loan since I live in a high earning household. However, I will not be getting any financial help from my parents. Using this £4000 I won’t even be able to cover my Uni halls rent. Will I be entitled to the £5000 midwifery payment on top of my normal maintenance loan?
Thanks

Hi, we don't administer the NHS Grant, you must speak to the NHS regarding eligibility https://www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk/nhs-learni...training-grant
Thanks, Isaac
