line graph or bar graph???

hello. i will soon be writing a report in chmeitsry on which alcohol producing the most energy, working best as a fuel.
part of my processed data will be a graph ofg some sort so i am not sure if i should do a line graph, bar garph or even somethong else.

i will be donig a calculation to find out how much energy is produced from each fuel, but would i use a line graph?? a bar graph??

It is very rare in chmeitsry to see a bar chart, compared to how often I see scatter graphs (usually with some sort of line of best fit).
