Hi
I've applied for 2021 dental therapy and hygiene and I'm concerned about my eligibility to student home fees.
I moved to the UK in 2019 and I'm permanently resident (Right to permanent residency, with my sister and dad). My mum is British and my dad is a non eea/eu national. I'll be resident in the UK for 2 years and 4 months before the start of my course.

Hi there,
In order to determine your eligibility, please confirm:

1. Which university and course you are looking to start your studies with?
2. How old you are.
3. Your nationality, current status and time spent within the UK.
4. Any previous study and qualifications you may hold.
Thanks, Isaac

You will need to provide 3 years of valid status though and if you have only been here for 1 year then I wouldn't expect you to be eligible in your own right.
Please can you confirm your course start date?
Thanks, Isaac

M
Please contact us again early next year once our new applications launch as our regulations will be updating and we will be able to provide more accurate advice on your eligibility then. If you message us around February/March time then we will have more information.
Thanks, Isaac

Eligibility is determined on the first day of the first academic year of your course. You must be eligible as a home student on the first day of the first academic year.
If you are not eligible at the start of the course, you will remain ineligible for the duration of your course unless you withdraw and apply again.
Thanks, Isaac
