Uni Entry Requirements

Just wondering... do people usually exceed their entry requirements by a LOT or is it good enough to have a slightly higher grade i.e. AAA for an AAB course at a good uni?

As long as you meet the minimum requirements you should be fine. Depending on the subject/uni having higher predicted than requirements may give you an advantage in receiving offers, but I wouldn’t worry too much as long as you meet whatever grades are stated in your conditional offer.

For most universities as long as your predicted grades are at or near the entry requirements you are likely to get offers. For a few very competitive universities like Oxbridge, Lse, Imperial Durham etc you might not get in with predicted grades even in excess of the entry requirements. This is also true of things like Medicine, Dentistry and Vet Science.
