Final written warning at Tesco, will the affect my new job?
I currently work at Tesco and after. Along disciplinary process, I have been given a final written warning. It stays on my record for 52weeks. I have secured grad employment in pwc and am currently in a talent pool meaning they will call me up when they need me. However, whist I have the job, the actual offer is contingent on a background check. Due to this, I won’t be using my current bosses at Tesco for a reference and instead use my boss in liverpool for one as it’s still for Tesco. Do I have anything to worry about with this? My mum and dad are urging me to get another job for the mean time as they feel Tesco will be watching my every move. Thanks!
