Art Foundation FMP

Heyy
I am starting my FMP soon and I want to do something that combines portraiture and nature specifically mushrooms/ mushroom type textures coming out of human faces and bodies. With a lil bit of a gore element from the nature essentially ripping through the skin.
I feel like I should give the project a deeper meaning but I am not sure what I can link it to in order to give it a deeper meaning.
Any ideas?

Hi
I'd say the easiest way to link the two would be to talk about decay in both humans and plants. Sounds morbid but the ideas of humans and plants not being all that different because we all live and die in the end
